Remember this from a book...

Somewhere out there in that great universe of untapped ideas, there is something new waiting for me to discover it.
The challenge is to believe in yourself.
The vase expanse of emotional ooze that resides inside you is proprietary and unique.

Half day Lord of the Rings tour in Wellington! 99th Post!

Alright! And so we are off to Lord of the Rings Half day tour by Wellington Rover Tours!!!! It's great! I think I wanna go for a full day tour next time if I were to go there!!! It's a tour for a small group, so it's really good!!

First off, Mount Victoria where the scene where by the hobbits hid while they are chased by the ringwraiths!

Walking to the scene

Hobbits plucking mushrooms and trying to pose like Frodo. This is the only photo that have me and my friend together!

I'm still plucking mushrooms!

Alright so we continue to walk around.

Then, back to the van! And off to the next location!

We are in the Legolas van with our great tour guide!! Legolas is somewhere beside our tour guide, beside the air-con.

Okay, next stop is around a half an hour drive to Hutt River! This is where the fellowship are travelling down the Anduin to Amon Hen in the movie. It's known as River Anduin and Rohan River in the show!

This is random. I have no idea what I'm doing! Haha!

Okay, heard from a local at this river bank that at certain times this place will flood and the water will cover the whole road that we are on! Alright, next stop, Kaitoke Regional Park! That's Rivendell and the Fords of Isen in the movie!

First, we went to walk at the swingbridge!

The swingbridge!

Scenaries on the bridge!

Me taking a photo of myself on the bridge!

And next, the 15 mins track!! A forest!

Not this turn, that will be a 1 hour walk!

Right turn and that's a big umbrella!

The path...

The chopped tree trunks.

Ah!! The Light!

Look at the side of the tree! I can't see where it ends!

I'm so tiny!

Trees!

Okay, and we are out! We had our afternoon tea in this beautiful park on 1 of the benches!

Okay, so we went for a short toilet break. After that we continue to walk further in to where Rivendell is! On the way, we took some photos!!

'Great things are done when Men and Moutains meet'

Ah!!! Freedom!!!

Alright Rivendell!

This is the area where they built the houses!

Floor map of the town!

Before we left the area, went to the place where a poster of Legolas was taken!

I am of the elfs!

On the way back to the van, our tour guide told us about Weta! She said that a few weeks before King Kong movie start their production, there are a few guys went outside of Weta studios dressed up in Gorilla suits asking for a position in that film! And, they were hired! Hoho! And the tour guide was scared of me because she heard that I wanna steal those elfs' ears to go scream outside Weta for a position! Haha!

Okay so off to the next location, Harcourt Park! Harcourt Park is Gardens of Isengard in the movie! This is where Gandalf the grey and Saruman the white walked!

The garden where Gandalf and Saruman walked!

One of the trees that are over a hundred years old

One of the tree inside Lord of the rings! It's CG-ed in!

Next stop, Dry Creek Quarry at the bottom of Haywards Hill! The area is where Minas Tirith was constructed! But now they've removed it all...

This is where Minas Tirith used to be!

Okay, so that's sorta the end of the Half day tour! Here are some Lord of the Rings production photos!!

Oh man! I really wanna go back there to take a full day tour!!! I wanna go there again!!! Anyway, this is the Wellington Rover Tours website: http://www.wellingtonrover.co.nz/index.htm
